Day 1 Sunday 6th September

After your long journey from the U.S., you’ll touch down in Australia’s most iconic city — Sydney. Perched along the stunning southeastern coastline, Sydney is the vibrant capital of New South Wales and one of the country’s largest and most exciting destinations.

You’ll arrive early in the morning, where a friendly Sports Travel Tours host will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to our host hotel, the beautiful Park Royal Darling Harbour. Standard check-in begins at 3:00pm, but for those who’d like immediate access to their room upon arrival, a guaranteed early check-in is available for an additional fee.

The remainder of the day is yours to relax, recharge, or begin exploring everything this incredible city has to offer. Then at 6:00pm, we’ll come together for a special welcome reception. Enjoy complimentary food and drinks while meeting your fellow travelers and kicking off an unforgettable Australian adventure in style.

Day 2 Monday 7th September

After enjoying a delicious breakfast (included daily), it’s time to set out and explore this incredible city with your included 2-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour. This flexible sightseeing experience allows you to discover Sydney’s top attractions at your own pace, hopping off wherever something catches your eye and rejoining when you’re ready to continue.

Your package also includes a 1-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Harbour Cruise, giving you the opportunity to explore several of the picturesque islands and waterfront precincts that make Sydney Harbour so spectacular.

And don’t miss the Night Tour — a fantastic way to see the city’s most famous landmarks beautifully illuminated after dark. Be sure to take advantage of the night tour this evening for a truly unforgettable perspective of Sydney.

Day 3 Tuesday 8th September

Day 2 is all about discovering more of spectacular Sydney with your Hop-On Hop-Off Tour. Take in the city’s must-see landmarks, including the world-famous Sydney Opera House and the impressive Sydney Harbour Bridge, where you can even climb to the summit while learning about the city’s fascinating history. For unbeatable panoramic views, head up the Sydney Tower, offering breathtaking 360-degree vistas across the skyline.

You may also choose to explore the lively waterfront precincts of Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, and The Rocks, or make your way to one of Sydney’s famous beaches for some time by the ocean.

This evening, we’ll gather by the wharf — just a short stroll from our hotel — for a memorable Dinner Cruise on stunning Sydney Harbour. Sail in comfort and style as the city’s most iconic landmarks light up the night sky. You’ll enjoy a thoughtfully curated three-course menu showcasing regional flavors, paired with a selection of beers, premium New South Wales wines, soft drinks, and tea or coffee. It’s the perfect way to experience Sydney from a whole new perspective.

Day 4 Wednesday 9th September

After one final breakfast in Sydney, we check out and transfer to the airport for our short flight to Melbourne — Australia’s cultural capital. The capital of Victoria and set along the banks of the Yarra River, Melbourne is known for its vibrant arts scene, world-class dining, and electric atmosphere.

Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the beautiful Crowne Plaza Melbourne, our home for the next three nights. After check-in, we’ll head to the spectacular Melbourne Skydeck, the highest viewing attraction in the Southern Hemisphere. From nearly 300 meters above the city, you’ll experience breathtaking panoramic views — truly Melbourne on another level. Your visit also includes an immersive VR experience, transporting you through 16 iconic Melbourne and Victorian highlights.

The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Step outside the hotel and explore the outstanding restaurants, hidden laneway bars, and buzzing waterfront venues that are all just a short walk away.

Day 5 Thursday 10th September

Today is yours to enjoy at leisure — the perfect opportunity to relax or explore Melbourne at your own pace.

You may wish to visit Federation Square, the city’s vibrant civic and cultural heart. Often simply called “Fed Square,” it’s home to several of Victoria’s most important cultural institutions, including Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Koorie Heritage Trust, and Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia.

Another must-see is the historic Queen Victoria Market, where you can wander through iconic food halls and heritage sheds filled with fresh produce, artisan goods, and lively market banter.

Alternatively, consider a visit to St Kilda, a charming beachside neighborhood just outside the city. Here you can stroll or jog along the waterfront while watching yachts and windsurfers glide across the bay. Be sure to check out the colorful rides at Luna Park Melbourne, explore beautiful historic mansions, and enjoy the fantastic cafés, fine dining restaurants, and famous European cake shops along Acland and Carlisle Streets.

Day 6 Friday 11th September

Game Day! Kickoff is early – at 10.35am, so we’ll head out to the stadium precinct early to enjoy our pre-game tailgate party. As always, food and drinks are fully included, along with great entertainment — creating a tailgate atmosphere unlike anything else you’ll find in Australia.

From there, we’ll make our way into the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, the country’s largest sporting arena and one of the most historic stadiums in the world. For one day only, this legendary venue will be transformed into the largest overseas NFL stadium ever to host a game.

After the final whistle, we’ll hop on the short tram ride back into the city, where you can celebrate the big win at some of Melbourne’s best bars and pubs. 🍻

Day 7 Saturday 12th September

It’s time for one last breakfast before your driver arrives to transfer you to the airport for your journey home, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Australian adventure.

 Travel Insurance

Buy travel protection from Travel Insured International

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  8. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves you from paying for a trip you'll really never get to take.
  9. We all experience tough economic times.
The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into your hands when you need it most.
