Day 1 Tuesday 10th February

Arrive at Milan Malpensa International Airport where you'll be met by a member of our tour host team. You'll then be whisked away to our host hotel for the next six nights, the Voco Milan-Fiere. The 4* hotel is on the north side of the city with great public transport links to the heart of this incredible city. After checking in we'll meet to head over to the official hospitality venue in central Milan where you'll enjoy Italian Aperitivo inspired bites and beverages before heading into the first of 4 games as Team Canada's Women's team takes on Teams USA's Women's team in the final group stage game. After the game we head back to the hotel for a well-earned rest.

Day 2 Wednesday 11th February

After your included breakfast at the hotel, your day is free to explore Milan. You have a 24-hour hop-on hop-off tour, which takes you around the city to all the major sites. If you prefer, we can add additional hockey or skating events to your trip, which are all located in Milan.

Day 3 Thursday 12th February

After breakfast the majority of the day is again free, we'll meet back at the hotel for the short journey over to our hospitality facility, then we head into the arena for the first of our Men's Team USA games, as they take on Latvia. After the game we’ll take the bus back to the hotel.

Day 4 Friday 13th February

A day free of Team USA games, there are more skating events taking place in the city. If you fancy a day out of the city, then why not take a day trip out to the stunning Lake Como - one of the world's most beautiful places (you can pre-book that ahead of your trip).

Day 5 Saturday 14th February

Following a delicious breakfast, you have more time for sightseeing or taking in a different skating event. Then we meet again at the hotel to head over to the hospitality facility and then into the Arena for the game against Denmark. Once again, after the game we take our bus back to the hotel.

Day 6 Sunday 15th February

Your final day, and after breakfast, why not take in one of the many sights including the Duomo which is included in your package. Then we'll meet again at the hotel for one last trip over to the Arena for Team USA’s last group game against Germany.

Day 7 Monday 16th February

After breakfast your driver will collect you for the journey back to the airport and your flight home.

 Travel Insurance

Buy travel protection from Travel Insured International

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  8. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves you from paying for a trip you'll really never get to take.
  9. We all experience tough economic times.
The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into your hands when you need it most.
