Day 1 Wednesday 21st October

Upon arrival at Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, your tour host will greet you at baggage claim and escort you directly to the recently renovated Embassy Suites San Marcos. Ideally located just 30 minutes from the Circuit of the Americas and 40 minutes from downtown Austin, the hotel also sits next door to the San Marcos Premium Outlets, home to more than 240 outlet stores for those who love to shop. After check-in, we’ll gather in the hotel lounge for the Manager’s Reception, where you’ll have the chance to meet your fellow travelers.

Day 2 Thursday 22nd October

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you can spend the morning relaxing by the outdoor pool, shopping at the nearby outlets, or taking advantage of our shuttle service to downtown Austin. We’ll reconvene in the early afternoon and head to the track for the exclusive Thursday Pit Walk, where you’ll stroll along Pit Lane, watch the cars being prepared for Friday’s practice sessions, and perhaps even run into a driver or two. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, the Downtown Austin shuttle will be running this evening until 11pm.

Day 3 Friday 23rd October

Immediately after breakfast, we’ll head to the track for Practice Day, where you can watch the Formula 1 teams test different strategies and tire compounds across both sessions as they evaluate their cars on the circuit. Support races will take place throughout the day, adding to the on-track action. Around lunchtime, we’ll regroup and walk to the iconic COTA Tower, ascending to the 230-foot observation deck for breathtaking panoramic views of the entire circuit. At day’s end, we’ll return to the hotel, with the Austin shuttle operating again in the evening until 11:00 p.m.

Day 4 Saturday 24th October

Today is Qualifying Day, and we’ll head to the track early to catch the third Formula 1 practice session before the real excitement begins after lunch with the one-hour qualifying showdown. The intensity of the battle for pole position is unmatched, and we’ll be watching closely to see who secures a front-row spot for tomorrow’s race. With additional support races throughout the day, it promises to be another action-packed schedule.

After the on-track action concludes, we’ll remain at the circuit for the evening’s headlining concert. COTA has hosted many iconic performances—most recently Garth Brooks in 2025—and we’re eagerly awaiting this year’s artist announcement. Your package includes General Admission access, with the option to upgrade to a reserved area closer to the stage. The concert is a signature part of Austin’s culture and a truly unmissable experience.

Day 5 Sunday 25th October

It’s Race Day! We’ll head back to the track for the main event, where the atmosphere is nothing short of electric. Feel the roar of the engines as more than 20 cars battle for supremacy and vital championship points in the fight for the Formula 1 World Championship. Will McLaren dominate once again in 2026, or will Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari close the gap and mount a serious challenge?

After the race, we’ll return to the hotel, and we highly recommend taking the shuttle into downtown Austin to join in the post-race celebrations and soak up the city’s legendary nightlife.

Day 6 Monday 26th October

Check out of the hotel after one final breakfast and our driver will take you back to the airport for your flight home.

 Travel Insurance

Buy travel protection from Travel Insured International

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  8. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves you from paying for a trip you'll really never get to take.
  9. We all experience tough economic times.
The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into your hands when you need it most.
