Day 1 – Friday July 24: Depart for Pittsburgh

Depart from London Heathrow Airport on your flight to Pittsburgh. Upon arrival, your tour host will meet you at baggage claim before transferring directly to the hotel. You’ll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Shore, perfectly located just a five-minute walk from PNC Park.

The remainder of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy—start exploring the North Shore’s many bars and restaurants at your leisure.

Day 2 – Saturday, July 25: PNC Park

After breakfast, the morning is yours to begin exploring the city. You may want to head across the river to the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, where you can discover the rich sporting history of Pittsburgh.

This afternoon at 3:00 PM, we’ll meet in the hotel lobby and make our way to PNC Park for a behind-the-scenes tour of this stunning ballpark—home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. After the tour, we’ll settle into our seats for tonight’s 6:40 PM game as the Chicago Cubs take on the Pirates.

Day 3 – Sunday, July 26: Explore the Steel City

Enjoy breakfast (included each morning), then spend your free time discovering the best of Pittsburgh. Ride the historic Monongahela Incline for sweeping views over the city’s iconic Golden Triangle.

We’ll reconvene at 11:45am for a short walk to PNC Park as the Chicago Cubs face off once again against the Pittsburgh Pirates in Game 2 of the series, at 1.35pm

Day 3 – Monday, July 27: Last Day

Your final day is free before your driver collects you for the journey back to the airport and your flight home.

 Travel Insurance

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  8. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves you from paying for a trip you'll really never get to take.
  9. We all experience tough economic times.
The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into your hands when you need it most.
