Day 1 Thursday 13th November 

Arrive at Stockholm’s International Airport (Arlanda) where you’ll be met by an STT Tour host in the arrivals hall. You’ll then be driven to our host hotel, the wonderful Radisson Blu Royal Viking right in the heart of Stockholm. You’ll have a chance to walk around the city a little, before we host our welcome reception with food and drinks included, where you’ll get to meet your fellow travelers.   

Day 2 Friday 14th November 

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we’ll meet for your introduction to the sights of Stockholm with our full day city tour. Boasting 700 years of history, Stockholm is home to grand public buildings, Royal Palaces as well as an array of museums. You’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea as we stop in the Old Town with its colorful buildings making it a fairytale destination. At the end of the tour, we’ll head back to the hotel to change and then we’ll head over to the Avicii Arena for our pregame hospitality for 2 hours before the Penguins take on the Predators in the highly anticipated game 1. The hospitality will be open for 1 hour after the game and then we’ll head back to the hotel for a well-earned rest.      

Day 3 Saturday 15th November 

The day is free for you to explore the city on your own, take time to visit a museum or two, included in your package is a step back into the 1970’s with the ABBA Museum. We also recommend the Vasa Museum, which is a maritime which displays the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged, he 64-gun warship Vasa which sank on her maiden voyage in 1628. The evening is free to try some of Sweden’s traditional foods.   

Day 4 Sunday 16th November 

You’re free to explore or maybe take a traditional Sauna to refresh your body. If you’re feeling energetic why not try Ice skating on one of the outdoor rinks. Then we meet again at the hotel in the afternoon for our second trip out to the Avicii Arena for game 2. We begin again with pregame hospitality and end with post-game drinks in the arena.    

Day 5 Monday 17th November 

After an early breakfast we check out and head off to the airport for the short 1.5-hour flight to the city of Kiruna, the northernmost city in Sweden, as we go searching for the best view of the amazing Aurora Borealis. When we arrive in Kiruna we head the short distance to the brand-new Elite Frost Hotel for our 2 night stay. Then after a chance to relax we take a 90-minute drive to Abisko, which is home to probably the best place to view the Aurora in Scandinavia. Our destination is the Auora Sky Station. We’ll begin the evening with a 3-course dinner set 3000ft above sea level. The meal will include traditional Nordic and Lapland cuisine as well as drinks. Then we head up to the top of the mountain by chairlift where a fire crackles to greet us as hopefully, we see the most majestic of all the Northern Lights displays. Then its back to Kiruna and the hotel for a good night’s sleep.  

Day 6 Tuesday 18th November 

After a late night, sleep in late and enjoy the fantastic breakfast. Today we include a choice of 3 activities. Kiruna is home to the largest and most modern underground iron ore mine in the world, and a tour of the incredible facility is the first of your choices, it lasts 3 hours and goes to a depth of more than 1700 feet below the surface. Its truly a marvel of engineering. Your second choice is a trip to the Worlds first and largest Ice Hotel each year its rebuilt with fresh snow and ice. Finally, if you’re after something truly unforgettable then a husky sled ride into the wilderness is definitely for you. You’ll get to meet the dogs and then sit back and enjoy the ride!! The evening is free to explore the city. 

Day 7 Wednesday 19th November 

After breakfast we head back to the airport and the flight back to Stockholm. Once in Stockholm airport you’ll link up with whichever flight you’ve booked for the trip back home.
