 FAQ

Q: Are Flights Included in this package?

A: NO Flights are not included with this package; you have to book the flights yourself.

Q: If we book flights ourselves what dates and arrival and departure times should we use?

A: Firstly, please make sure all flights arrive into London Heathrow Airport. There are 3 other airports in London, but we only provide transfers to and from Heathrow. You will need to ensure that your flight departs from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport. For this trip you will need to depart from the US on Wednesday afternoon/evening (most flights are overnight from the US arriving on the morning of Thursday). Ideally your flight should arrive into Heathrow between 9am and 1pm

Q: What's the reason for arriving at the times listed above?

A: London Heathrow Airport is one of the busiest airports in the World and sometimes it can take over an hour to clear immigration and customs. It is then, depending on the time of day approximately 1 hour's drive from the airport to our host hotel which is located right in the heart of the city. On Day 1 of the trip, we have an event that starts at 5.30pm so arriving between 9am and 1pm is perfect timing to ensure you enjoy the start of your trip.

Q: Are transfers in Paris and London included in the package

A: YES, we will collect you from the London Heathrow Airport and take you back to Paris Charles De Gaulle. All transfers are private (unless we have multiple people arriving on the same flights and we’ll then use bus transportation) so you’ll always be met by a smiling face from a member of our staff when you enter into the arrival’s hall!!

Q: If I decide to add extra nights will you still provide airport transfers?

A: Yes, providing the extra nights are booked through us as the pricing of the transfer is built into the extra night hotel prices. If you choose to book another hotel for the extra nights, then you will be responsible for your own journey to/from the airport. This is the same for both London and Paris.

Q: What time should I depart on the last day of the trip?

A: You are free to depart at any time on the final day of the trip as most flights depart Paris to the US in the morning, we don't schedule any activity for that final day. Breakfast begins at the hotel at 6.30am so if your flights leave early in the morning then you will miss this final meal.

Q: What time can I check into my room?

A: Check in time at the hotel is from 3pm onwards. When you arrive at the hotel you'll meet your tour host at our hospitality desk located in the lobby, and they will assist with the check in process. As you will arrive earlier than the check in time, the hotel will allow you to store your bags in a secure room until the room is ready, and you'll be free to start exploring the local area whilst this is being done.

Q: What clothes will I need for the trip?

A: Unfortunately, there is no correct answer to this question, European weather is notoriously changeable so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast in the days leading up to the trip, but still pack a selection of clothing as forecasters do it get it wrong! One thing that is important is that you pack comfortable shoes. Both London & Paris are walking cities, and even with our fantastic Hop on Hop off Bus Tour in order to make the most of your time you'll definitely need to walk!

Q: When/how will I get my game tickets?

A: All game tickets for the games are mobile entry. You will need a cell phone with access to data (please ask your provider about international plans ahead of your trip). On arrival your tour host at the reception desk will assist you in downloading the ticket onto your phone. Please note, you will be provided with the exact location of your seat approximately 2 weeks prior to your departure, however we can only transfer your ticket when you arrive at the hotel in London.

 Travel Insurance

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel.
  8. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  9. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves travelers from paying for a trip they’ll really never get to take.
  10. We all experience tough economic times.
  11. The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into the hands of travelers when they need it most.
