After checking in we begin our trip with a 2-hour private city sightseeing tour. The tour will give you a fabulous overview of everything there is to see in the capital city. On our return we'll host a short welcome reception.
Day 2
Thursday 31st October
Today is our only free day, if you want a relaxing day then why not try one of the more than 3 million saunas in Finland (yep, its true!!). If you want to explore a little, then take a day trip (by ferry) over to Tallinn (in Estonia) where you'll see one of the World's most beautiful city's, with its Medieval architecture, stunning Eastern Orthodox Cathedral, cobblestone streets and lots of cafe's and shops. The evening is free.
Day 3
Friday 1st November
Don't forget to get up in time for the incredible buffet breakfast at the hotel (all included). We depart the hotel at 11.45am for the short drive over to the Olympic Stadium for a 1-hour tour. The largest stadium in Finland was originally built for the 1940 Olympics (which were cancelled due to WW2) and finally hosted the 1952 games. The highlight of the tour is a trip to the top of the tower which is 72m (236ft) tall and provides panoramic views over the city. Then we hit the road to Tampere for the first NHL Global Series game. When we arrive we head straight to our pre game hospitality venue where we've got all-inclusive food and drink as well as a meet and greet with a former NHL star who'll take photos with you, sign autographs and give you the inside scoop on the game. Then we walk over to the Nokia Arena ready for face-off between the Stars and Panthers. We head back to Helsinki after the game.
Day 4
Saturday 2nd November
Day two of the Global Series, and mid-morning (after another incredible breakfast) we take the bus back to Tampere, this time we arrive a little early as we have a private tour of the Finnish Ice Hockey Hall of Fame. Then it’s on to our pregame hospitality venue where we're hosted by another NHL Legend with food and drinks all included. The Nokia Arena will be buzzing again as the Stars and Panthers do battle.
Day 5
Sunday 3rd November
After a good night's sleep and one final breakfast we head to the airport for your flight home.
What an experience we have for you before each game. Our venue is one of the best in the whole city, our private area has luxurious seating and amazing views, and we include a buffet food menu along with beer, wine and sodas. The 3-hour pregame event will be hosted by an NHL legend who'll sign autographs, take photos with you and will give his insights into the game you're about to see. It’s a short walk from here right to the stadium where you'll have seats on the long side in the lower bowl.
If you're looking for an incredible day of sightseeing, then this trip is for you. The capital of the Estonia, Tallinn is just a 2-hour ferry ride away, and an early morning start is essential to see everything this city has to offer. From the magnificent 13th century town hall, The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral which was completed in 1900 to the Medieval old town, which is in the Unesco World Heritage list, the photo opportunities are unending. The cobblestone streets are alive with cafes and shops, and you can visit The Baroque palace of Kadriorg and its surrounding park, commissioned by Czar Peter the Great. This will be a truly enlightening day.
